Alpha Hub is a program dedicated to helping startups grow and scale through cooperation, partnerships, and access to corporate clients. Over the past 15 years, Paddy Power Betfair has been an active partner, investor, and acquirer of innovative tech firms. Leveraging this experience with the growing Eastern European tech scene, we’re seeking to collaborate with innovative, up-and-coming tech companies in our neighborhood.
The Alpha Hub Program offers high-quality technical, product, and business consulting to help your company gain corporate collaboration and clients.
You’ll join us in Cluj for a Kickoff and Showcase–we cover your travel and hotel. In between, companies have support from our company and partners. As we get to know your team, you’ll get to know ours. You’ll gain access to technology resources, knowledge, network, and more. Together, we’ll explore how your startup can solve some of our company challenges and help us grow. If there’s a match, you’ll receive equity-free funding for developing a proof-of-concept within our family of companies.

Prizes and Benefits
Besides access to great mentors, technical support, events, and the chance to showcase your startup to potential investors and partners, there are, of course, prizes.
Successful teams receive equity free financial support and other resources in order to complete proof-of-concept with Paddy Power Betfair. Since every startup is different, these prizes will be individualized based on startup needs and potential.
A specially organized roadshow to Dublin, Ireland–the hotbed of global multinationals and investors–awaits the top team. You’ll show off your startup to Paddy Power Betfair executives,and investors and tech leaders from the ecosystem. But, of course, no trip to Dublin is complete without stops at the Guinness Brewery and Grafton Street!

Interview

If you’re a match, we’ll reach out in early November to get to know your startup and solution better. We review applications as they are received, so the earlier you apply, the early you’ll interview.
Kickoff
November 20
You’ll join us in Cluj for a working session with global Paddy Power Betfair execs and partners, to learn more about their corporate challenges and make an individualized roadmap for your solution.
Support
November 20 – December 4
Over the next 2 weeks you have support based on your needs to complete your proof-of-concept and pitch for Showcase Day. You’ll also get support on other areas, like product, financing, business, and more.
Showcase
December 4
You’ll pitch and network with executives, investors, tech leaders, and others. Successful teams get equity-free financing and resources to complete implementation. The top team gets a roadshow to Dublin.
